True, he has only put out one novel at this time, but man, what a novel! The Name of the Wind is an incredible book by a wonderful fantasy author, Patrick Rothfuss. Terrific writing. The next book in the series, A Wise Man's Fear, is due out Spring of 2010. His blog is fun, funny and interesting.
Here is a three-part interview with Rothfuss, if you're interested. Part One. Part Two. Part Three.

Joe Abercrombie is a Fantasy writer from England, with a gritty, darkly humorous style that I find appealing. He has a complete series, called The First Law Trilogy, and a stand-alone novel called Best Served Cold that I recommend if you have a thick skin and enjoy action. If you're easily offended, then you should probably pass. Nevertheless, his blog is always a good read.
Here's a quick 4 minute clip of Joe talking about the transition from First Law to Best Served Cold.

Brandon Sanderson is a relatively new discovery for me, though he has written many books by this time. His Mistborn Trilogy is among the very best fiction of any kind I've ever read. Very enjoyable, rich and easy to read - not an easy accomplishment. I look forward to reading all of his books eventually, but in the mean while, I'll point you to his blog.
Here's a video clip of Sanderson discussing his latest book, Warbreaker.
